Nancy Griego

I have been in the mortgage industry for over 35 years. I started my career at the Veterans Administrative in 1984 as a VA Home loan underwriter. In 1996, I left the Veterans Administration to work for Credit Union Mortgage. In 2002 I transitioned from the credit union to Suburban Mortgage Company. When Suburban Mortgage was sold in August of 2011, I helped Alan Fowler open up the Albuquerque branch for First Mortgage Company. I am now a proud member of the Waterstone Mortgage team.

I am currently a producing manager with Waterstone Mortgage in Albuquerque, and I truly love helping my customers achieve homeownership. Although I worked as an underwriter with the Veterans Administration, I have been originating loans since 1996. I have found that my underwriting experience has been an asset to me and to buyers because my knowledge and experience help me anticipate underwriting requirements with the ability to come up with alternatives on challenging loans.
