We won the Milwaukee Sentinel Journal’s “Top Workplaces” award for the fourth year!
This is our favorite type of news to share, because it focuses on the people that make us a better company every day: our employees!
We have received the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces award for 2020, which is based entirely on feedback from our employees surveyed in Southeastern Wisconsin. (This includes our Home Office and our Pewaukee branch location.)
The Top Workplaces award is one of the most prestigious workplace lists that Wisconsin-based companies can receive. To qualify for the award, a company needs a minimum of 50 employees and have a 38% minimum response rate for the employee survey. (This year, we had a 63% response rate!) Our employees were asked 24 questions pertaining to compensation and benefits, their confidence in our leadership team, workplace culture, employee engagement, and more.
We were selected for the award (in the midsize company category) based on our employees’ feedback. All of the winning employers were grouped into three categories: small (50 to 149 employees), midsize (150-499 employees), and large (500 or more employees).
This is our fourth time earning this award! We are honored to have some of the most talented, smartest employees in the mortgage industry – and we value them like family members. They are the ones who truly make Waterstone Mortgage a great place to work.
