Sara Del Cuore

Sara Del Cuore is a Denver-based mortgage loan originator with over seven years of experience and a uniquely community-focused background. Before entering lending, she worked as an urban farmer, teaching people to grow food in city settings — an experience that sparked her passion for helping individuals achieve stability and sustainability through homeownership.

After several years in the industry, Sara stepped away to reassess her goals, launching multiple small businesses, including Ambrosia Harvest and ventures under her Queen City Companies portfolio. This hands-on experience deepened her understanding of entrepreneurship, community building, and starting from the ground up — ultimately bringing her back to mortgage lending with renewed purpose.

Sara is known for her ability to listen deeply, explain clearly, and keep her clients’ long-term vision at the center of the process. She specializes in conventional and government loans (FHA, VA, USDA), as well as alternative options such as new construction, DSCR, bank statement, and asset depletion loans. Through Waterstone Mortgage, she has access to more than 700 loan products, allowing her to tailor solutions to each borrower’s needs.

Sara’s favorite part of her work is helping clients realize that homeownership may be more attainable than they’ve been led to believe. She serves borrowers throughout the Denver metro area and across Colorado.

Sara is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology, where her studies in liberation theology and ethics reinforce her belief that stable housing is foundational to thriving families and communities. Outside of work, Sara and her wife Lisa enjoy gardening, reading, film, live music, supporting local businesses, and exploring Colorado with their three dogs.
