Welcoming our new Glendale, Arizona Branch

November 19, 2021
Led by Amy Battin, our new branch is ready to serve homebuyers in the greater Glendale area

The Grand Canyon State just got a little grander!

We recently welcomed Amy Battin as the branch manager of our brand-new Glendale, Arizona branch. The new office is located just outside the city at 18001 North 79th Avenue, Suite C-62, Glendale, AZ 85308. We are thrilled to have Amy and her three team members on board.

With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, Amy has worked as a senior processor, loan originator, and sales manager.

Amy and her team members are Arizona natives who know the greater Glendale real estate market well.

“We have seen the positive growth in this area through the years,” says Amy. “There is always something fun going on. You can enjoy our lovely evenings and absolutely gorgeous sunsets from the privacy of your home. There is opportunity for anyone who wants it!”

When deciding to join Waterstone Mortgage, Amy was drawn to our mortgage technology solutions.

“The technology available here at Waterstone Mortgage is definitely making my life easier when it comes to providing service to my clients,” Amy says. “Having instant access to my clients’ loans – no matter where I physically am – is extremely important for me to provide quick and accurate answers and information.”

Amy is also excited to lead her own branch. “I’m looking forward to helping my team succeed and showing them how you can really help and change people’s lives,” she says. “Providing the ability for someone to purchase a home – who never thought it would be possible – is the absolute best feeling! I am also excited to have fun and show my team how much I truly appreciate them.”

Amy is looking for some positive, highly motivated people to complete her team. If you’re interested in a Glendale-based position (or a position at one of our many other offices around the United States), be sure to check out our Careers page!

A few other fun facts: Amy earned her degree in Finance and Economics from Grand Canyon University. In her downtime, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and extended family. She is enthusiastic about supporting charities and non-profits in her area – especially women’s shelters. If she could give her younger self one piece of advice, it would be, “Find more balance in life, and exercise regularly!”

Great advice, Amy! We agree.
